1408B Rio Grande black caboose 1978 light package

Rio Grande cabooses 01515-01524 were delivered from International Car Company in early 1976 with a track light centered under the roof gable at each end and small red marker lights in the corners.  The Rio Grande started adding the centered track light to all cabooses and a large red marker in the upper right corner.  In 1978 there was a push to get all cabooses converted and this became known as the 1978 light package.

Update any Trainworx black caboose with part number 1408B.  The kit includes two decorated black ends with light bezels and four pre wrapped fiber optics that can be cut to any length.

For use with directional DC 1406 light board or DCC 1407 light board, (sold separately).
